I couldn't find much information about the Modern Props Rolling Control Unit #03. The Facebook page states that there were 2 units and it seems like they might have been altered for Star Trek: The Next Generation, also making an appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise.

The Modern Props Hanging Ceiling Mounted Device/Overhead Analyzer was crafted in 1981 for the John Carpenter film Escape from New York. Four units were manufactured, each bearing slightly distinct appearances, overseen by the renowned Hollywood prop designer John Zabrucky. Over the years, these units made appearances in numerous TV shows and movies from the early 80s and 90s, including Star Trek: The Next Generation and Robocop 3.

I've noticed that in the Fanhome hobby, my modeling skills may not be as necessary for the Knight 2000 build, especially considering the remarkable talent and projects I've seen in various Facebook groups. Consequently, I've made the decision to elevate my proficiency in Fusion 360 and set myself a substantial challenge—to create an impressive display case for the car. Today, something funny happened while I was scrolling through Facebook. I was trying to quickly skip past an ad when I noticed a familiar outline—a 3rd gen Pontiac Trans Am with the words "We've got it." It got me thinking: could this be a 1:8 scale model of the K.I.T.T. car, mostly made of metal, that I could build each month?
