Hello everyone, I hope I didn't keep to many of you waiting for the opening of our website. I hadn't realized just how far behind the times I am on designing websites. All I can say is WordPress has come a long way in the last 14 years. I'm not going to lie, things may be a little rocky for the start of this adventure as I figure things out, especially shipping. For the moment I'm partnered with pirateship.com to attempt to bring you the best prices on shipping I could find. If something better does come along I will implement it into the webstore. If anyone has any ideas, please don't hesitate to contact me. So what is theknightrider.com exactly? My company is Kenneth Toys LTD, and theknightrider.com is themed to products that I offer. Mostly this is related to the 1:8 scale Fanhome K.I.T.T. build but I also offer other exclusive Knight 2000 related merchandise like Hot Wheels, dioramas. Also my wife, Erika designs and offers custom items such as tumblers, pens, and coasters. Unfortunately I only have the main framework of the website done so far, so a lot of products are slowly populating into the store, and some blog posts may appear out of order over the next couple of weeks because these blogs were written before the existence of this website.
I do have big plans for the future of this website and I hope you'll bookmark my us and check back often! We're also new on Facebook, so please feel free to come over and give us a follow! Some things you can expect in the future:
Affordable DIY parts added to the catalog. These will be parts that will come to you cured but unfinished so you may customize them they way you see fit. They will require supports/sprues to be removed and some sanding and painting will be necessary. This option can save you a lot of money on your modding journy if you're willing to give it a try or already have experience.
Along with the DIY parts, I want to add instructional videos on how I finish and assemble parts along with any other items I may sell.
Digital files are also on the way, so for you 3d printers out there looking for Knight 2000 related STL's for FDM and Resin 3D printers have come to the right place! I'll have more information ready for you guys on that soon.
In the meantime I do hope you find something here you like and if you have any suggestions at all, my email is always open!
- Thanks
