AFTERMARKET "LARSON" SCANNER HOUSING UPGRADE

This much more accurate scanner housing with square openings replaces the scanner housing with round openings we received from China. This scanner housing is compatible with aftermarket scanners like the excellent drop in replacement BRICKSTUFF LED scanner. This new scanner housing uses the same installation hardware you received with the original part, simply follow the same installation instructions for an easy install.

With his trademark precision, Christian Witt knocks another one out of the park, showcasing his obsessive attention to detail. This redesigned scanner comes to you ready to fit larger LED lights seen in aftermarket replacement scanner boards. The scanner housing is airbrushed in Satin Black, followed by chrome paint already applied to the actual scanner housing making the light really stand out as it should. The scanner housing is then sealed with a matte gloss. The K.A.R.R. lens is flexible and is 3D printed in yellow transparent resin, sanded smooth, and then sealed in a high gloss coat.

Why is it called the "Larson" scanner? This style design was envisioned by Glen L. Larson back in the 70's for Battlestar Galactica for his Cylon robots. He liked the effect so much that he incorporated it into K.I.T.T.'s design. The "Larson" scanner name was first coined by evilmadscientist.com back in 2007.
