The tow bar is essentially a receiver for the camera car to pull the "black t-top" during filming of the driving scenes. It wasn't intended to be a part of KITT's design or overall look, but many people seek this piece to complete their builds to own a screen accurate K.I.T.T. This tow bar design was used for Season 3 and 4, it featured a complete redesign with an adjustable bar to help hide it during filming when it was not in use.
Note: These photos are of a prototype unit and changes are currently being made in the printing process. The front bar is thin and will flex, but when using the provided pre-installed double sided adhesive you can position the bar to be completely aligned.
With each project, Christian Witt proves his keen eye for detail. When you order this tow bar, it comes to you airbrushed in matte black and sealed with a matte gloss coat. To install use the provided pre-applied double sided tape for an easy install.
These parts are made from a custom UV resin formula consisting of SIRAYA Blu, SIRAYA Smokey Black ABS Like Resin, and SUNLU ABS Like Gray. My parts are designed to be able to have some flex and withstand a drop from a 4-5 foot height and not break or shatter.
