In seasons 1-3, KITT featured turn signal openings integrated into the nose, covered with precisely cut acrylic (or plexiglass) to create a sleek look. However, after a few days of filming in the California sun, these covers began to sag, giving KITT its iconic “smile” that became a hallmark of the series. While the lens covers from Fanhome are considered “good enough,” those seeking a more accurate model representation need look no further. Christian Witt once again demonstrates his exceptional attention to detail. Our lens covers are crafted using precision 3D resin printing, primed with two coats, and painted with two coats of black. They are meticulously wet-sanded for a smooth finish and polished with a two-step process using Meguiar’s Ultimate Polish and Wax. Installation is easy with pre-installed double-sided 3M tape.

Ces pièces sont fabriquées à partir d'une formule de résine UV personnalisée composée de SIRAYA Blu, de SIRAYA Smokey Black ABS Like Resin et de SUNLU ABS Like Gray. Ces pièces sont conçues pour être flexibles, peuvent être taraudées et peuvent résister à une chute d'une hauteur de 4 à 5 pieds sans se casser ou se briser comme d'autres résines fragiles.
