Our tape deck v2 package replaces the provided Radio and HVAC combo to a period and screen accurate version that can light up! Pre-wired SMD LED Included! Easily installed with provided 3M double sided sticky tape, and our tape deck also comes with a removeable cassette tape. This 3D print is made from UV resin, air brushed satin black, and sealed in a matte clear coat. Controls are hand painted with a custom TAPE decal pre-applied. Fit’s the K2000 build from Fanhome, DeAgostini, and Altaya 1:8 scale models.

KITT and Michael often bent the rules regarding California's two-party consent laws, and now you can partake in the adventure, too. Christian Witt has once again excelled with his updated model for 2024. What sets it apart from the original? The latest version boasts enhanced detailing, improved precision, and now features illuminative components! This model introduces a transparent window allowing the TAPE section to glow. The update includes a pre-wired SMD LED with a 3.5 resistor—a significantly bright, white light that can be spliced into the lower console's LED. Keep an eye out for our upcoming tutorial; although soldering is required, it's manageable—even for beginners. Fitting the radio is a breeze with the peel-and-stick 3M adhesive. Additionally, it features a removable half-cassette facade, creating the impression that KITT is recording.
This resin 3D printed enhancement is prepared for immediate installation straight from the box. It is airbrush and presented in black, sealed with a matte gloss for durability, and detailed by hand. The transparent window showcases a water decal with the word TAPE in the original typeface. The cassettes, also finished in black, include pre-applied label decals.
